Hi All,
I am using CRM 2016 - OnPremise with 8.1 version DB. I would like to restrict activity creation (Phone call, Email, Appointment and so on) privilege of case record for particular security roles. Is it possible to achieve without code. If not whether can achieve through code.
Note: Create privilege of activity restriction should not affect "Resolve" case. Because Resolve is an activity. If we restrict create privilege, the Resolve button will be hiding from the case form

Hi Saratha,
You can use security role to restrict create activity privilege. But it will be applied for all activities.
When you resolve a case, a case resolution record will be created, case resolution as one activity, you can’t create it if you restrict create activity privilege.
These two points are contradictory and cannot be obtained simultaneously.

Thanks for the response. Yes. During restrict create privilege of activity in security role, the case resolution won't be happened. Can I achieve this through code. Means, apart from resolve case remaining activity creation need to restrict. Do I need to register plugin in pre create of Activity or each and every activity (For eg., pre create of Phone call, Task, Email and so on).
