Hello everyone,
A customer is interested in buying Dynamics365 Guides for two HoloLens 2.
Unfortunately he is not allowed to use any Cloud for saving files.
So his question is about where the files of the guide project are located. Cloud or local?
What other information will be sent to Microsoft?
I hope someone can help me.

hello Bruno,
Microsoft Guides for Dynamics 365 is a cloud only solution, both authoring app (on desktop) and operator app (on hololens) are using the cloud services (Dynamics Common Data Service) for storing the guides assets.
Guides assets consist of:
- all the guides structures & tasks title
- all tasks title & descriptive text
- any illustration that has been added for each step (image, video, 3D objects)
All those data are securely stored on Microsoft Dynamics 365 servers and it may be enough for most customer projects. Sometimes it is not ...
Sadly, I don't think there is an easy way of using Guides apps to retrieve assets from your own server.
