Hide buttons on ribbon

Posted on by 509
Hi

We're using Sales, but don't want to use all it's functionality.

I'd like to hide buttons such as Qualify, Disqualify etc... from the Lead entity, but they're set to read only and I'm not able to hide them.

Is there a way to remove them in a simple manner?

Thanks
Lee

    Hide buttons on ribbon
    Hi Lee-Martin,

It is recommended that you use ribbon workbench to hide the buttons:
1.Click the Download button and import the downloaded solution into your environment.
2.Once the import is complete, you can see a new button appear in the Solutions tab of Advanced Settings.
3.Create a new solution, add empty lead table. (Do not check the add data checkbox)
4.Click on the new button that appeared in step 2 to open the new solution created in step 3.
5.Right-click on the button you want to hide and select Hide.
6.Click Publish, after successfully publishing, refresh the app and you will see the button on the form disappears.
    Tip.
If you are not sure which button you need to hide, use F12 to see the button name.
