It's possible I believe but you will need to raise a service request at https://admin.dynamics.com and it will take a while for it to be  done - from memory there was a 4 week wait a month or so ago (and I don't know all the requirements and restrictions)..

If you don't want to move the data and  just want to move the structure it would be far quicker  to export and import the solutions...

    Hi Partner,

Once we had the same issue and had already raised the ticket to MS. Currently it is not supported on T2T Migration if it's V9.0 Online version or above. The following screenshot could be your reference.

The source and target Instance all should be V8.2 Orgs.

    Hope it would help.

    Regards

Yes, Currently the target can nly be version 8.2. However it is always best to opene a ticket with Microsoft and check as these conditions can change anytime and also depends upon the number of licences as well :)

    Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if V9.0 will be getting this in the future?

We have some global customers that have individual tenants with Dynamics 365 and we have advised them that we can move them when the global O365 tenants are created.

My understanding has always been that Dynamics 365 can be moved between tenants and can be in different geographical regions to the O365 tenant. Exchange always needed to be in the same region as the tenant although now can be in different regions if over 5000 seats.
