Can't deploy from LCS because of Core limit

We signed up for Dynamics 365 for operations partner trial from https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/global/news-events/news/Microsoft_Dynamics_AX_Public_Preview. For the azure subscription id, we tried using a free Azure subscription.

We received the following error message when trying to use a azure connector with ARM Enabled.

Do we have to purchase a Azure subscription with 16 cores in order to proceed ?

It seems that your only options are either to use a full subscription, or you could deploy a VM with just four cores (if it's available for selection). A VM with a few cores may be slow, of course.

Open portal.azure.com and check your limits. "Subscriptions\settings\Usage + quotas". You will notice that number of cpu cores which is allowed you can create.

Create a support ticket to increase cpu core count. Default cpu limits 20 for each subscriptions.

increasing CPU quota is almost instant when a request is raised on portal.azure.com on your subscription
