HTML webresource load

Posted on by 680

Hi,

We have created HTML webresource and called it from Ribbon button but it took time to load the page when we checked the network from google chrome then we saw some CRM parts is also loading and it also took time as shown below. Is there any way to avoid it and why it is loading.

Is there any way we can load HTML webresource faster.

Thanks!

    Hi partner,

Since you have many scripts, you could compress your scripts first, this will save some time than loading the completed scripts for D365.

If you have requests for retrieving data, you could call them asynchronously.

Here is a blog for you about how to imporve the performance in D365.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

How can we handle such that our HTML page load faster. We have 15-20 scripts and controls (like textbox, grid etc).

    Waiting for your reply.

    Thanks!

    RE: HTML webresource load

    Hi partner,

As I konw, D365 will only load the js libraries which is needed in the page, so that the form load time will not get impacted becasue of scripts.

So did your html page contains to much content and needs D365 spending much time to load? The html page you tagged looks like an authentication function which may take too much time.

You could also refer to this blog.
