Hi,

I recently started AX development and I got to say that this ERP is massive and dull in study when using official Microsoft training material. I was wondering if anybody knows a good book to learn AX more in-depth, or video tutorials that you may know of (I am looking for more details in database design etc). What would be the right approach to master AX piece by piece. What are essential skills expert AX developers should have?

    1- Inside Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Book, www.amazon.it/.../073568510X

    2- Microsoft Dynamics Learning Portal. Is required Customer or Partner Source credentials

    Try working your way through my guides at www.dynamicsaxcompanions.com - if you start on the first Bare Bones Configuration guide and then work through them one by one, you will have a mini implementation of a Spy agency, complete with all of the agents and staff from Alias.  Also, if you do complete them all I will send you a nifty badge :-)
