    Hi pavilionit,

I'm not able to understand your question. Can you elaborate and provide some more details of what you try to achieve?

The problem is not clear enough. Specifically, what do you mean when you say "can I add this through VisualStudio Dynamic365". Adding with X++?

Below I have shared an example use of container at the form with x++. If it's something different you want to learn, you need to explain it better.

I have created a extension for a table and a form

And I need to add a field in the design to make it a container

I have added a field type container in the table, how do I add it to the form?

Based on your last message, seems you already have the field added into a table. You can add fields (and field groups) from the form data sources to the form design by drag&drop in Visual Studio.

If it's a standard D365 form, you need to create a form extension, but the drag&drop works there as well.

    Hi pavilionit,

like I wrote, you can drag&drop fields from data sources to the design. You can see the data sources on the left side of the designer (the "Data sources" node in the form), and the design on the right side of the designer.

    Hi pavilionit,

based on your screenshot, you're doing something else than what I suggested.

Are you familiar with the term "drag&drop"? You should locate your new field from the data source. Then click the primary mouse button when the cursor is on top of this new field. Keep the button pressed, and move the mouse to the design, in a place where you want to place the new field. Finally, release the mouse button.

Also, may I recommend that you start by going through some online learning courses? This way you'll learn all the basic skills that a D365FO developer needs.
