D365 Finance reports - Ability to run group reports

Hi,

We have to run multiple management reports each month (Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance etc.) which is quite standard for closing any month end, and with Dynamics AX 2012 was able to run this as a group and export to one excel file.

In D365, this option seems to be unavailable adding additional time to run and export each report in a separate excel file and then manually creating one new excel again. I have not found the PowerBI integration tool very useful to provide an alternative.

Has anyone found a solution to this that won't add additional cost or additional add ins?

Hi,
In FO, you can use the report designer to group report definitions so that you can generate multiple reports at the same time. For more information, you can view this document: Organize report components in report designer - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

Hy,

there is something new upcoming called Business Performance Analyse (BPA) where also Financial reports are included., but it is still in preview.

Report

The ability to render reports directly to Excel was deprecated for D365. It was a nice feature.
