DLP Access

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We recently registered for PartnerSource and have access.  I am trying to get into the eLearning area but have been met with "“We're sorry. Our records indicate that you do not meet the minimum eligibility requirement for access to the Microsoft Dynamics Learning Portal (DLP).”

According to the FAQ on DLP Access Eligibility Criteria, we must meet one of two criteria:

"is enrolled in MS Dynamics Partner Advantage or Partner Advantage PLUS Service Plans"

According to our Company Profile, we are enrolled under MS Dynamics GP Perpetual – Advantage Plan.

Since the criteria explicitly says "Partner Advantage" I checked out all the different types of plans and the only ones with Advantage in the plan name were Advantage Plan Datasheet and Advantage Plus Plan Datasheet – I’m assuming the plan we have falls under the Partner Advantage Plan criteria requirement noted above.

Finally, the FAQ eligibility notes state that "if employee contact details is not yet registered in the PartnerSource Business Center or you do not have your email acct correctly associated to the exact same MS account that ou access PartnerSource, your access to DLP will fail and you will be prompted with a "We're sorry" page.

I went to the PSBC and noted that my email account was listed in my profile exactly the same as the MS account.

The NOTE also indicated to watch a video presentation “Resolutions to common issues when accessing DLP for the first time”. The video is down for maintenance and won’t play.

Any thoughts on how I can gain access?  Do we have the wrong Plan type?

Regards,

Brenda C

    RE: DLP Access

If you have the Partner Advantage Plan it should be listed in your PartnerBusinessCenter Executive Summary (last section). If you don't have that plan then you need to buy Dynamics Learning Portal training pack. Detailed instructions are shown here:

Below are the instructions on how to purchase the Microsoft Dynamics Training Pack in order to get access to the Dynamics Learning Portal (DLP) (you apparently have done step 1 and 2 already?):

Step 1:  Obtain a Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) ID # at:  mspartner.microsoft.com/.../overview.aspx.

*Before requesting a MPN account, verify first if your company has already a MPN ID #.

Step 2:   Fill out Microsoft Dynamics Partner Registration Agreement (PRA) form

    -      For Americas including Mexico & Canada (AOC) download the form here.

    -      For Europe including Russia & Africa (EOC) download the form here.

    -      For Asia including Australia (APOC) email krichman@microsoft.com

    -      Under General Terms and Conditions, section 3 PARTNER CATEGORY, check box Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) for Microsoft Dynamics

    -      Under General Term and Conditions, section 4 BENEFITS, check box Access to PartnerSource

    -      Email copy to mbsagree@microsoft.com (AOC) mbscon@microsoft.com (EOC)

    -      Mail original copy to Microsoft Corporation address listed in the PRA form

Step 3:  To be completed after your new account number has been created from Step 2 and you receive an email confirmation.  You should receive an email confirmation with your account number. Next, email the Agreements team requesting they work with Credit & Collections to create a billing account:

    - To: mbsagree@microsoft.com (AOC) mbscon@microsoft.com (EOC)

    - Subject Line: “Sync to AX – {Partner Name} – {Partner PSBC Account Number}”

    - Email Body: Hello Agreements, Could you please work with Credit and Collections to create an account for this partner? Please ask that they expedite and let me know if you have any questions.

Step 4:  Allow approximately 1 week for Steps 2 & 3 to be completed. After you receive confirmation from agreements the billing account has been created, you are clear to create the order.

Step 5:  Follow these steps to purchase the Dynamics Training Pack for $1,000 to receive access to the Dynamics Learning Portal (DLP)

Please review the Training pack options available for purchase noted here:

    •         Scroll down to the Ordering Information section at the bottom of the page

    •         Review the ordering details, access the links included (either online* or manual ordering)

    •         Purchase the “Dynamics Training Pack (pay per incident)” $1,000 USD under select service options

Note - Once the order has been created, it will be placed on hold pending payment.  Available payment options include wire transfer and check by mail. Instruction for each can be found on the Credit Services page.

The order will be released once payment is received. Reminder: Orders are void in the system if they are on hold for over 10 business days.

*By opting for the online ordering, select Partner Service Plan Order on the “Welcome to Order Central” page.

Before accessing the DLP again, please verify your Order Status through PartnerSource by clicking Pricing & Ordering > View Order Status. It can take up to 2-3 business days before the order is fully completed. For assistance with orders, please refer to your local Microsoft Regional Operations Center (ROC).

You can also reach out to the Global Operations team with questions relating to orders and they should be able to assist you.

For any other DLP access questions, you can reach out to dlpsupport@microsoft.com.
