The site won't let me reply to responses, so here's my reply:
@lvdtang
We have a setting of 3 attempts on the mobile device which alerts the user if the counted qty is a variance.
This works and there are no issues.
The issue is that the 1st blind bin count does not close when the user selects "Finished" on the mobile device if all the items int he bin are not counted.
Being a blind bin count, SKUs will be skipped due to stock slip.
I need to figure out how to set it up that "Finished" triggers work closure.
Our cycle counts are set up as follows:
1st count - Blind Bin
2nd / 3rd count - Variance Items Only
I was doing some testing during the first count and skipped a few SKUs based on real life experience.
Once I selected "Finished" on the scanner/mobile device, the work ID did not close.
On the Cycle Count Recount Details, the 1st count appeared only against counted items.
I went back into the work ID and recounted the same SKUs, skipping the same SKUs
On the Cycle Count Recount Details screen, the skipped items appeared with 1st count 0 and the recounted items on 2nd count.
The work ID was still open and did not appear on the Review screen.
This is a serious problem with a wall-to-wall coming up.
How can we get the "Finished" button to trigger the work as closed/in review for 2nd/3rd counts?
