How to untangle PartnerSource and CustomerSource?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I registered on Partnersource some time back as an independent consultant, but the customer site I run a Dynamics Project at have had their CustomerSource account set up by the main System Integrator we use. Now staff at the customer want to access the various useful resources on their CustomerSource, but every time I login using my username at that company (ie: an organisational account there), customersource throws me straight into my unrelated Partnersource account. Even if I login using an incognito window.

Hence I cannot add users in the organisation to be able to use those CustomerSource resources. Is there a path out of this Hotel California, so that I can reach CustomerSource?

    Thankyou. However, did this on Chrome and Edge on my Windows PC at work, Safari on my iPad, then Chrome and Safari on my Mac at home. I manage to log into my organisational account. However, the second I ask to look at my profile to check I'm in my org account to add further people - bam - individual consultant setup and account number.

    I have logged into my individual consultant account, and it's asked me to upgrade to the new MPN setup, which I've done. Waiting for that process to complete end to end before trying again :-}

    Hi IanWaring,

    You will need to open the private/incognito browsing mode on your internet browser or on another internet browser. Try these.

    • Google Chrome: Control/Command + Shift + N
    • Internet Explorer: Control + Shift + P
    • Microsoft Edge: Control/Command + Shift + P
    • Mozilla Firefox: Control/Command + Shift + P
    • Opera: Control/Command + Shift + N
