Project Commitments - deleted PO lines

Hi
 
We have found that PO lines that have been deleted (can be seen in previous PO versions) are showing in commitments, and furthermore still appearing in commitments after the PO has been finalized.
 
Can we remove them?  And is there a fix, are we doing something wrong?
