Currently I work with an integration bewteen Shopify and Business Central. We use BC Shopify connector. I am having issue with how to show prices on Shopify including GST. I activated "Prices including GST" on shopify shop card. Also activated "show as included" on Shopify markets - see the screenshot attached. The site location is Australia.
Basically the requirement is that, when we specify item price in Business Central as 110 (including GST), it should be visible as 110 on Shopify site. But now it shows 100 on Shopify site.
This happens because the BC Shopify connector always sends net prices (excluding tax) to Shopify, regardless of the Prices Including GST flag. When you enter 110 in BC with GST included, BC internally converts it to 100 + GST and sends 100 to Shopify; since your Shopify market is set to Show tax as included, Shopify assumes 100 already includes GST and shows 100 on the site. The correct setup is to keep BC item prices exclusive of GST (100), keep Prices Including GST enabled on the Shopify Shop Card, and Show tax as included in Shopify—then Shopify will calculate GST and display 110. Storing gross prices (110) in BC is not supported by the standard connector without customization.
