Surrogate key relations

Hi Team,

When creating a relations in D365 i found that we have nodes as Relation and ForeignKeyRelation. However in AX 2012 we can create a relation based on Surrogatekey to maintain the consistency of data. Could you please help me in knowing if we can create a relation through surrogatekey so that a new field will be created in childtable.

    No, I D365FO You have create field manually then have to add Foreign Key Relation between tables.

    Hi Sohail,

    So if i need to create a relation through RecId of Parent to the RefRecId field in child table first i need to create a RefRecId field in child table and i need to create a normal relation.Is my understanding correct.
