Hi all,
We have trouble finding the Dynamics 365 Guides Device license.
I only see what seems to be a user license in Partner Center, but I can see from page 35 in Dyn-365-Licensensing-Guide-Mar-22 that it should exist.Ref.: https://www.licensingschool.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Dynamics-365-Licensing-Guide-Mar-22.pdf
There is also a guide for setting up the device license, but in the example a Trial license is used. Ref.: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/device-license
Is anybody using the device license or at least seeing it in partner center?
Cheers,
Jesper
Hi Jesper,
Were you able to get this resolved? If not, email me at davepinch at microsoft.com or open a support ticket as described in the first question on this FAQ: docs.microsoft.com/.../faq.
Hi David,
I just checked again in Partner Center and it has become available in NCE now!
Awesome :-)
I don't know if you had anything to do with it, but thank you if you have.
Glad to hear!
FYI, I am a product manager on the Guides & RA team, and I'm very interested in talking with people who are implementing device license scenarios. I am seeking feedback and a clear understanding of requirements and frictions (so we can improve how the licensing works). If you wish to share your feedback later, please reach out to me at davepinch@microsoft.com. Posting on the forum is OK of course but contact me directly if you prefer to avoid sharing proprietary business information.
p.s., The same invite applies to anyone else reading this!
