As usual, we make extensive use of the appointment entity in Dynamics 365.

When Dynamics 365 was implemented with us, the D365 partner said it was not possible to stop the automatic sending of emails to the appointment invitees. That is why everyone now leaves the invited field empty.

Since I have acquired quite a bit of knowledge of Dynamics lately and with the help of this forum I hope I can find a solution for this without this weird workaround. I have searched the internet for a while but only found old articles. Thanks!

Please check if there is any workflow in your appoinment entity.

Go to Settings->Processes.

Hi,

I think still the way around for this is to either leave the required field empty or create an exchange rule and block these invation email at the exchange level.

There is already an open idea on this request. You can vote up to introduce this feature in furture.
