Changing the displayed date in the activity pane

Hi there,

I have not found a working solution for the following simple case:

In the activity pane there will always be shown the date of the "last modified on" action. That makes sense in the first place.

Howerver if for example you change the owner of an account or contact, every activity in the pane always gets this date. Of course I can sort the activity pane by "created on" which would solve the sorting problem, however it does not solve the problem that there is still the date in every single activity from that very change when it took place.

This is beyond confusing, because when you look in the pane, you want to know WHEN that activity was created (or maybe also when it was changed). Anyway, for practical daily use you can't open every single action to see when it was actually created after changing the owner of an activity.

There are solutions mentions by using the cascade option. I tried that. It works in parts. Meaning, for some activities it changes the date and for some not. I can't find a pattern there....

THERE HAS TO BE a simple solution for changing the displayed date in the activity pane????  PLEASE HELP!

Thanks

Andreas

    Hi DerAndreas

Have you tried using cards? With this I think you can even make those 2 fields visible

    Hey Miguel,

first of all: YES! it works. However there is a second problem coming with this.

Now there is no longer the name of that person mentioned who created the event, but there is "von Normal" (from Normal)...

Please read and try the 2nd comment on

the first screenshot shows the setting mentioned in the first comment (which was already so), and the second screenshot shows the newly created card for "Aufgabe" (task). It works when changing it to owner. However in the pre-configured card that comes as standard there is not owner in the header and it works anyway.

A new "problem" occurs in the 3rd screenshot. It is a minor one.... it says now in the task that the task was "changed" (Geändert) by xyz ....however it was not changed, it was just created. I can live with that but it's strange. since the word "Geändert" should not be there. This problem does not occur with the telephone activity for example where i had to change everything too.
