Knowledge Base Search control, how to not search on Content

Hi,

By default, it is searching the Title,Content, Keywords, Description, and Article Public Number.

Is there anyway, we can change that Find Columns? 

I do not want it to search on 'Content' or 'Description', because it returns too much results.

I tried in Knowledge Articles Quick View, but did not work.

The setting must be somewhere else.

While searching for a knowledge article in the Related section (Reference panel), the following fields of a knowledge article are searched for the keywords that you type: Title,Content, Keywords, Description, and Article Public Number.

    Thanks for quick reply.

    However, I am talking about the Knowledge Base Search control. It is a speical control from Knowledge Management.

    This issue does not related normal field setting. Set up searchable or not, is not related.

    I think this control somehow locked by Microsoft, and alwasy search on those 5 fields.

    Hi Zhenyu Wang,

    Every field has the option of being sercheable or not:

    But maybe, default fields or system fields are locked for editing the sercheable property so you have to create your custom fields.
