Announcements
Hi,
I have 3 processes configured against a case.
1 when a case status reason is changed to waiting
1 when a case is resolved and the status reason is 'Resolved tier 1'
1 when a case is resolved and the status reason is 'Resolved tier 2'
I can trigger these correctly logged in as system administrator but if I log in as a user without system admin they do not get triggered. This user can however trigger it manually from within the case.
What am is missing?

Hi Deb3107,
I'm glad to hear that you have solved the problem.
If we choose "User", the workflow will run only on the records owned by the same user as the workflow user.
If we choose "Organization", the workflow will run on records owned by any user in CRM. Since it will trigger for all records, organization scope is the most used scope option.
Best Regards,
Leo
Hi Leo,
thanks for your response. The failures were due to not having the correct permissions but also that the scope was set to User isntead of Organisation. Once I changed the permissions and the scope they are now being triggered.

Hi Deb3107,
After the processes were running background and had been activated, they will be triggered when changing status or resolving cases.
In that case, the user only need the permissions of editing cases.
You could go to Settings->System Jobs to check if the process had started and what's the condition of each step.
When we click on a workflow record, we can see descriptions of each step.
In addition, could kindly share the configuration of your processes like trigger conditions so that we could help you more effectively.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Leo
I've managed to resolve this by changing the scope of the process to organization instead of user
