Hi,

i'm new to LCS, have Global admin role and following this guide

Go to LCS and select Sign in using the account that you used to subscribe.
If prompted, accept the legal and privacy terms.
Select the plus sign ( + ) to create a new project.
For preview purposes, select Migrate, create solutions, and learn project type.

Select Finance and operations

Stuck on step 4: I have no Migrate, create solutions, and learn project type.

Appologies for long delay, totaly forgot i posted question here

At the end i contacted MS support and they told that i "consumed" option to utilize "Migrate, create solutions, and learn" and suggested to buy an FNO license.

Thanks everyone for your valuable inputs,much appreciated !

@Kevin Xia, yes, it's my thought too, but how to "unlock it", ie. remove Read-Only flag ?

Hi,

I think the option 'Migrate and Create Dynamics 365 for Operations solutions' would be similar to 'Migrate, create solutions and learn'.

@Kevin Xia, when clicking on Manage metodologies, i have options:

Evaluate Microsoft Dynamics Retail
Migrate and Create Dynamics 365 for Operations Solutions
Dynamics Retail implementation methodology
Learn Development in Dynamics 365 for Operations

When i click on any metodology, i'm getting this

@Hana Xue, how can i get service account and check if Dynamic365 version is new ?

Hi,
Make sure you meet this prerequisite: 1. Lifecycle Service Account 2. Azure Subscription and make sure your LCS environment and Dynamics 365 for Operations instance are newer.

Someone on the forum has asked a similar question before, you can refer to this old thread: LCS New Project - no options for Migrate, create solution and learn (dynamics.com). Please verify that you have the migration, create solution, and study project methodologies under Manage methodologies, MS sometimes updates other related topics. Migrate, create solutions, and learn Project is a learning project that can be created by customer and partners to learn Dynamics 365 and experiment with it by deploying the cloud hosted environment.
