QR code bug when using "From other source" dynamic query

Hoping someone can assist with this bug or have also seen this.
 
When creating a QR code link in a Real-time Marketing email and using data from another source, we lose the details after saving and refreshing the record.
In our case, we are selecting a Trigger (OOTB trigger - Marketing Event registration created) as the Other source.
Then select trigger and Marketing Event Registration and save the record.
As soon as you refresh the screen/browser, all of the steps are removed.
We have tried using a Test send before refreshing and the correct Event registration is linked to the QR code.

    I encountered the same problem as you during my testing.
    However, it can be Ready to Send and can be used normally for the journey.
     
    Can you just make the email Ready to Send and use it for the journey?
    If so, this problem does not affect use.

    Unfortunately that does not resolve my issue.
    I am able to make it "Ready to Send" and test the mail, and it works.
    However, if I go back to that mail and edit it, once again, it loses all track of the dynamic query.
