Hi experts,

How to consume expired on-hand batch items through inventory journals. Any paramter available to allow?

Extending batch expire date for each item is not possible due to large volume of data available.

Currently expired on-hand batch is getting blocked while consume through movement/transfer journal.

    Hi Chandra Moli,
This is the error message is getting while using expired batch number.
I think there is parameter, that needs to enable to allow the expired batch consumption.

    Hi Kesavan,

Could you please provide some more details like what is the error message that system is throwing (With screen shots) and did you enable any parameters against the process?
I did not see any error while handling the expired batches consuming in standard process.

    Hi Kevin,
    Thank you for your reply.
I can't able to see data entity that related to batch. Can you please suggest which entity needs to consider for bulk import/export for batch.

    Hi,
Have you tried to solve this problem by opening in excel and then updating the expire date in bulk, or importing data through DMF to update the expire date in bulk? You can refer to this blog post: dynamics-tips.com. It introduces about how to use Excel Add-In, it allows you to update date in bulk. Or you can refer to this official document: Data management overview - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft LearnThis article describes how you can use the data management framework to manage data entities and data entity packages in finance and operations.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
