I need to configure a leave type where employees are credited 15 leaves will get credited in employee's account but employee will be able to avail that only after 8 months of service and the leaves needs to be prorated based on the employee's joining date.
I configured the following:
And I enrolled the employee with employment start date where his start date is 1st March, 2023. My expectation was when he completes 8 months he should be entitled for 12.5 leaves but even though the employee has joined in Mar he is able to see 15 days leaves.
Am I missing something in configuration.
Please advise.

Thank you for your response. The requirement is to assign them from 1st Jan only, but it will be visible to them only after 3 months of service. So, for employee joining on 1st Jan will get 15 leaves and he will be able to avail that only after 3 months and for employee who joined in Feb, will get 13.75 leaves and he will be able to avail that only after 3 months .
Hi Spara,
Select Accrual period end date option from the Accrual award date dropdown box to see if it will make a difference.
You selected Accrual period start date in your screenshot, so the employee will be awarded time off on the first day of the award period.
