Hello,

We are wanting to expand the DlvModeId extended data type to 21 characters.  Since it is derived from SysGroup, it is currently set to 10.  However, if I break the extension from SysGroup and set it directly to 21 characters, I would like to review the impact this has.  Is there an easy way to query where this field is either derived and/or used?

    You can use the application hierarchy tree to see what other EDTs extend from DlvModeId.  Right click > Add -ins

    If you want to know where it is USED, as in what tables, forms and classes use it, you'll have to run the cross-reference. Mind you this can take a very long time to build before you have full cross-reference.
