No "add quote" button on quote subgrid on the Opportunity Entity in Unified Interface

In the opportunity entity, we have a subgrid for quotes.  This is used to view and add quotes directly linked the opportunity.  Works perfectly in the Web Interface.  However in the Unified interface I do not have the option to add a quote.

In other forms (e.g. account) the add option is available for subgrids showing opportunities and contacts.

Picture attached also.

Any idea how we change the behaviour so quotes can be added to an opportunity?

Fixed it! It was as simple as the entity was set to read only for mobile.

Thank you Lu Hao.  This was insightful and I have downloaded the Ribbon Workbench.  Unfortunately this did not fix my issue and after looking further, I cannot add a quote anywhere in the UCI.  Eventually I went to advanced find and the add option was available. But threw up an error saying that the entity was a "read only" entity in the client.  Any ideas?

    Hi Scott,

We can use the Ribbon Workbench to check and fix this button.

One possible reason is that the button is added with rules hidden in the Unified Interface. We need to check if such rules exist and remove them.

If you haven't used the Ribbon Workbench yet, you'll need to read some tutorials:

    [View:~/crm/b/develop1/archive/2016/07/08/mastering-ribbon-workbench-2016:320:50]

This is the download link for Ribbon Workbench: http://www.develop1.net/public/rwb/ribbonworkbench.aspx

After opening the solution containing the Quote entity using the Ribbon Workbench, we right-click on the Sub-Grid's ADD NEW button and clidk the Customise Command.

Check the Display Rules list on the right to see if there are any Rules for hiding unified interfaces or mobile tablets. If there are, right-click and click Remove from Command

For example, HideOnModern, HideForTabletExperience or NotUci and the like.

In addition to the ADD NEW button, the ADD EXISTING button also needs to be checked by clicking on its Customise Command.

    Finally click Publish.
