Ribbon missing in Email Server Profile

We recently migrated from CRM 2015 to Dynamic 365 V9.  After the migration, when creating a new email server profile,  the ribbon for Save, Save & Close, Test & Enable... are missing.  I have tried on IE, Edge, Firefox, and Chrome.  All came up blank.  Opening an existing email serer profile has the same result.  We upgraded to V 9.0.3.7 to see if it fix it, but it did not.

Have anyone seen this issue before?

    Hi Bill,

Is the environment you are migrating online or on-premise?

With the error message "the certificate used for s2s authentication is not installed", we can see that your D365 server does not seem to be able to successfully connect to Exchange Online.

So please refer to the following articles about Exchange Online to check your configuration:

Thank you Lu Hao, for the response.  But I am not even to that part yet.  Since the ribbon does not load, I can't even configure anything.  The ribbon to display the Save, Save and Close, Test and Enable... are not even there for me to click on, and all the field are NOT editable.

It turns out to be a bug in V9.  Per Microsoft support, the bug is if your Dynamic url being with the word crm.company.com, the email server profile will not work.  It can be crm1.company.com, mycrm.company.com, crmx.company.com.  BUT not crm.company.com.  That is one weird bug.  I am waiting for a hotfix/patch for this, which Microsoft is releasing "soon".  RIght now, the work-around is to change the org and URL of the site, which will require testing of all the custom codes, and making users change all their favorites to the new URL.

As far as i know, The only work around is changing the url to something else beside crm.company.com, ie crm1.company.com.  Anything as long as it it NOT crm.company.com.

    Hi Bill,

If you don't have a good solution, I recommend that you raise a Microsoft support ticket to get timely and professional help.

I am having the same exact issue.  So frustrating these crazy bugs that you just can't imagine why they exist.

I have been using the following work around - not sure if it works for you?  I use Internet Explorer and the blank ribbon shows up in Email Server Configuration and the Mailbox Information forms as well.  In Internet Explorer though, if I press F12 and bring up the developer tools, then change the Document Mode from IE11 to IE10, the page refreshes and then I am able to use the ribbon on those 2 forms. Its a pain in the butt but at least Im able to do what I need to do.

Ill likely put in a ticket with Microsoft as well to get an ETA. If you happen to find a better work around, please let us know.  Thanks for taking the time to post this!

For me changing the Document Mode from IE11 to IE 10 or IE 9 did not work.  I tried all different browser version, and none work.  I don't know if you have the same issue as I am.  Does your Dynamic site have a URL of crm.yourcompany.com?

I was told that Microsoft schedule to release the patch sometimes in July.  I don't know if we can wait that long, and if Microsoft is on schedule to release or not.  For workaround, we are looking at change the site URL to something in the line of "mycompanycrm.mycompany.com".  We will have to test and the new URL, custom codes, integratoin, ask user to change their Favorites.   Lots of work, but I don't want to wait for Microsoft, and continue to delay my project further out.

    Hi Matze,

If you are anxious to fix this issue, I recommend you to submit a Premier/Unified support request.

Not sure if its the same exact issue or not but it sure sounds similar. I upgraded my CRM 2015 organization to Dynamics 365 V9.03 on prem and changed the Org name during the upgrade so my IFD URL is now crm.company.com.

Thankfully the ribbon is blank white/broken only on the Email Server Page and Mailbox Information forms as far as I can tell.  Using IE to administer the new environment and changing the document mode (not the agent string), on those 2 forms is annoying but at least I can continue with testing.  Hopefully this is fixed sooner than later.  Do you have a Microsoft ticket number by chance that i can reference if i open one with them?

I updated to update 0.6 that was recently released and now the ribbon seems to load correctly for me in IE11.  Having some issues in Chrome now though - go figure.
