Undoing a Termination

Hi All,

I was terminating an employee from D365, and clicked too many times and accidentally terminated another employee, how can I undo this?? Or am I stuck rehiring the individual? Any help woudl be wonderful.

Hi Waders2207,

Go to Modules > Human resources > Personnel management.

On the worker form you have Worker history and then Employment.

Create a new employment for the same worker and then assign a position.

May also be worth creating a new reason code for the change 'User error', something like that. Always good to know the reason for a change on something like this where the record keeping could have legal implications.
