Smartlist export error

Hello,

We are having an issue with a smartlist export the data does not export correctly. 

We do have a smratlist builder not sure if that's the reason but everything was working just fine tell yesterday.

Below is an example of how the export looks like ! :( any help would be really appreciated.

    The error seems like an Office 365 issue.

    answers.microsoft.com/.../

    Thank you so much for the info.

    When we contacted eone solution about the issue the advised the following:

    The SmartList export routine is controlled by GP/SmartList regardless if you created the Smartlist using SLB, Designer, or a 3rd party dictionary such as from Wennsoft, or even a 3rd party dictionary like Manufacturing (which is microsoft but acts like any 3rd party dictionary such as SLB)

    Moreover, I did add the following switch to my dex.ini file SmartListEnhancedExcelExport=true. i was hoping by adding this it would fix the issue but it didn't

    No, short of you telling me the exact version of Dynamics GP you're on, the name of the SmartList report(s) seeing this export issue on, and me being able to duplicate exactly what you're seeing, there's nothing I'm aware that would scramble the reports when exporting to Excel, that we currently have with GP.

    The reason for the 'clean' GP code is that if you have SmartList Builder installed, SLB overrides our default SmartList reports, thus, the export issue could be related to that product, and we just need to verify whether or not it truly is a GP issue or related to SLB or another third party or customization that is installed.

    Wanting to test with a 'clean' GP directory is common troubleshooting for anything that we don't commonly see occur with support cases.

    I'd also verify whether you have the SmartListEnhancedExcelExport= line in the Dex.ini for Dynamics GP and whether it is set to TRUE or FALSE, as that line can impact exporting SmartLists to Excel as well, as can any export solutions, if applicable.

    Is this just one SmartList report that is not exporting correctly or is it all reports you try to export?  Do the default SmartLists also export in the same manner?

    If you want to test with a 'clean' Dynamics GP install, you can do the following steps:

    A. Have all users logged out of the GP application on the one machine, then rename the GP directory from something like this >> C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP\ to be something like this >> C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP_OLD\

    B. In Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, right-click on this instance of Dynamics GP and click ‘Change’.

    C. In the options window that opens, choose the ‘Repair’ option and verify the process runs successfully. This will re-create the entire Dynamics GP directory, to include all files and folders, under the original directory name that we just changed. It’ll also not have any third party products, customizations nor forms or reports dictionary files.

    D. Login to GP via this ‘new’ directory and attempt to export the SmartLists to see if you still have the same issue or not, then if not, you can try adding back any third party products, one by one, testing after each one, to see if and when the export issue occurs again, if at all.
