RE: Smartlist export error
Is this just one SmartList report that is not exporting correctly or is it all reports you try to export? Do the default SmartLists also export in the same manner?
If you want to test with a 'clean' Dynamics GP install, you can do the following steps:
A. Have all users logged out of the GP application on the one machine, then rename the GP directory from something like this >> C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP\ to be something like this >> C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP_OLD\
B. In Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, right-click on this instance of Dynamics GP and click ‘Change’.
C. In the options window that opens, choose the ‘Repair’ option and verify the process runs successfully. This will re-create the entire Dynamics GP directory, to include all files and folders, under the original directory name that we just changed. It’ll also not have any third party products, customizations nor forms or reports dictionary files.
D. Login to GP via this ‘new’ directory and attempt to export the SmartLists to see if you still have the same issue or not, then if not, you can try adding back any third party products, one by one, testing after each one, to see if and when the export issue occurs again, if at all.
