Hi,
I am setting up a new company in NAV 2016 using rapid start but I need to import master data from NAV 2009. I have exported data from NAV 2009 in excel (.xlsx) format. Now when I try to use the option "import from excel" for a table in the configuration package following error occurred.
" A DotNet variable has not been instantiated. Attempting to call MapInfo in CodeUnit Config. Excel Exchange: ExtractXMLSchema "
Anyone know about this error please reply.
Looking forward towards you.
Thanks,
Bilal Haider

Hello Bilal,
Go thru this article DATA MIGRATION IN NAV 2016 FROM NAV 2009
That is so nice of you. Kindly tell me the proper way of exporting for nav 2009 because I think there can be problems in the exported files. And again thanks for your help and support.
Okay fine
I'll prepare a article and share with you, but it takes some times.
Here is a sample, you can go yourself.
> You have to Add a Field "Package Code" in Tables ID - 8613, 8614, 8615, 8616
And in Table 8613 you have to add code from screen shot.
> In Form 8614 "Migration Overview" you have to add Package Code field.
> In CodeUint 8611 "Migration Management" you have to update code in Functions:
ExportSetupDataToExcel
CreateRecordNodes
> In XMLPort 8610 "Setup Data Schema" you have to add packageCode like NAV 2016.
thanks @binesh. But kindly tell me further about the customization in objects. It'll be great.
