Device Licensing for Warehouse and Manufacturing

Hi, I have following requirement for implementing WMS/Production module. Can someone please advise if my understanding is right w.r.t device licensing and can use device license instead of user CAL for warehouse operations. Customer already have D365 for Finance and supply chain. Thanks in advance.

Receiving Station: 3 Device License

Shipping Station: 5 Device License

Scanning Guns (Pick/Pack/Put): 20 Device License

Warehouse Manager: 2 Unified Operations License

Warehouse Planners: 4 Activity License

shop floor terminals: 6 Device License

Shop floor manager: 4 Unified Operations License

Hi Adel,

Device licenses can be used for the warehouse app. You haven't specified what these users will actually use. If someone needs access to the Finance and Operations client, they should have a user based license. You can use the device license if there will be more than one person operating e.g. the scanning gun, but not have a simultaneous login on several devices.
