Hi

We want to upload a picture to InventQualityOrder Table /..Line thru an app. With PowerApp there is no CDS entity for this table and not sure if anyway these entities connect to d365 tables?

Whats the best way to start with this?

Thanks.

You can use OData feeds in PowerApps, using public entities of D3FO. Make sure if you have a public data entity exposed available under your ODATA URL.

Once done, go on powerApps and create a new Dataset, it should allow you to browse entities available under your DEFO URL.

The d365 connector also shows tables. Seems not to be entities nor tables. Where they are from?

I assume those should be standard CDS entities coming up as you add operations URL. in worst case you can create custom web service which are possible in AX7(D3FO) and PowerApp allows you to create a custom connector. This should provide you way to fulfill any requirement, as custom webservices have no limit usually.

have a look at next blogpost where someone exposed ax2012 webservices on PowerApp.

you don't need to do anything with IIS etc, if your operations system is in cloud already. URL will be reachable via internet in that case.
