Could you please let me know what is the Significant role of Azure DevOps and LCS in D365FO.

Is LCS is connected with Azure DevOps? If yes then how we can do that.

LCS is connected to DevOps for project management reasons. You choose your DevOps site URL and a project.

Now this experience is changing with the Unified Development Experience.

LCS has it's own security roles like Project Manager etc whereas DevOps has it's own security roles.

Where and what needs to fill project management details is LCS.

2. Is "Project management" is the only reason to connect with LCS with Azure DevOps?

1. When we talk about "Project Management" in the context of LCS + Azure DevOps, we're mostly referring to how work items, tasks, sprints, and customizations are tracked and managed during an implementation or support project.

2. No, it’s not the only reason. Integration serves multiple purposes like Build Automation, ALM, packages, release pipeline, testing ...

Where your data is hosted (Region)
