Sending and receiving emails in D365 for Customer Service

Posted on by 90

Hi,

The requirement is simple that user should be able to send and receive emails in D365.  However, users don't want to synchronize all the incoming emails to the mailbox but only those relevant to D365 customers . Please guide on the steps to be followed.

Advance Thanks

Here are the settings if using the App.

Settings -> Administration -> System Settings -> Email

Then in Options as logged in user users set preference can enable folder level tracking up to 25 folders from memory. So you can then use Outlook rules to enable tracking at folder level

A blank Regarding Record will look for the email address in Dynamics or you can target it to a specific entity record.

Are you using the Dynamics for Outlook (older) or the Dynamics Outlook App (server side sync)?
