Modifying Report Headers

ReportReport

I have gone into Report Designer via Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition. How do I go about removing/modifying what is actually displayed in the header area. As an example, I want to remove (Amounts are in Canadian dollar).

    Hi,

When you click on the respective textbox and select the Properties (Right click and select Properties) or you may go to Expression.  From there, you will be in a position to know where the value is coming from.  Accordingly, you may remove the desired text / value.

    Best Regards,

    MMV

Based on the report design, those labels are defined Under Text Constants or Labels which you can access by opening report in designer mode. View -> C/AL Globals > Text Constants check if you have any caption related to that or check in View -> Labels.

Other way is go to report and from the text box check the expression used and change there directly or change the expression variable.

If it is standard report let us know the report no. and we can help to find out.
