Default Views for Lookups on Quick Create Form in Interactive Service Hub

Posted on by 10

Does anyone know where the default view for lookups on a quick create form in the ISH is set?  I have some forms that contain lookup to Accounts and the default view in the lookup is the My Active Accounts view, however in the form customization I have set the default view to be Active Accounts.  I can't locate anything online that indicates where this is set and/or if it can be modified.  Hoping someone with more experience could give me some help.  Dynamics 365 on-premise v 8.2.3.8

    Hi Chris,

This seems to be because of the JavaScript OnLoad event.

Please disable all JavaScript in this form first, then test if the problem persists.

    1. If this problem disappears, then it is really the reason for JavaScript.

Next, we need to check which JavaScript is because of it. Only one OnLoad event is enabled at a time to confirm which OnLoad event is the source of the issue.

Please refer to the following articles about adding JavaScript to the form:

    2. If the problem persists, then we need to check other scripts and plugins.

Lu - Thanks for the recommendation.  I went back to save and publish my work.  I tested and still get the My Active Accounts as the default view.  I cleared my cache in IE and tried using Chrome.  Both briefly display Active Accounts but it looks like there is a script that changes it to My Active Accounts.

    Hi Chris,

The way you mentioned to modify the view of the lookup field is correct.

So be sure to save and publish after changing the default view.

Also, please clear your browser cache or try changing another browser.
