Data entity import fails and throws an error "Results. Stack trace: Cannot run form on non interactive session"

Hi,

In D365, developed a new data entity , build and synchronization completely successfully.

Exporting of data with the entity works fine but import fails with the error below.

Results. Stack trace: Cannot run form on non interactive session

Note : data inserted into staging table, in debugging , didn't get enough details from call stack as error is directed from base classes.

Any idea how to proceed further on this.

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

Just put a breakopoint into add() method of info class to see the call stack. Probably there is a dialog or Box somewhere on insert, so you will have to skip it in your code, becuase there is no UI to show it.

Were you able to debug the Info\add method so that you can see where the error comes from? If not, please do that since that's the way to learn what is wrong. If yes, what did you find out?

I have a hunch. Check on your table's code. There should be some (faulty) form handling code there... Like - common.getFormDataSource().

The data entity will execute that code. Which will cause that error.

If that is not the case - you can debug the data entity (as mentioned already). If you do not know how I can assist with that.
