Additional Tenants for Customer Insights

Hi,

We have 3 environments and are running Customer Insights in one of them (Production).

Are there any limitations on being able to install Customer Insights in DEV too for testing purposes?

Are we covered under the current license or do we have to purchase a new one?

Hi Greg,

Dynamics 365 Customer Insights is a tenant-level application.

The Dynamics 365 Customer Insights base license includes four application installations of Customer Insights - Journeys and four of Customer Insights - Data.

As long as you don't have more than four installations in the same tenancy, you don't need to buy the license again

Thank you for the answer, but this only gives us the solution install components and does not allow us to send any emails (i.e., there are no service components that are installed that allow us to send test emails.

The customizations aren't what we need to validate, we need to validate the sending and distribution of emails especially as they apply to subscription preferences.

Is this still possible?

It should be based on this capacity units--People Interacted.

capacity is pooled at the tenant level.

So no need to buy if capacity is not used up.
