Invent On Hand Quantity is not true on Invent Counting Journal Line

Hi all,

Recently I receive an error about Invent counting journal line on ax 2012.

I create new journal line and I define TransDate and ItemId with dimension and I hope On hand qty field will be -2 but it's set to 22.

I check my InventTrans and InventTrans posting. There is no incorrect record.

how could be possible this stuation?

I shared screenShot about problem.

anyone have idea about this.

p.s. I use WHS module.

Hello.

I debugged InventSumDate class and I found the reason.

InventSumDate class calculating inventTrans with InventTransPosting.

but for work transactions InventTransPosting doesn't created. so I think it is not working for wms module healthy.

I inserted SS for example.

Hi Davut,

Thanks for that. I worked out you are using Turkish, and was able to translate some of the other screens too!

I'm not 100% sure what is going on here. It looks like you have a Count journal line which thinks you have 22 of item 200029851 in Location Y01, but when you make a sum of the quantity on the inventory transactions, you get -2.

It should be possible to use the inventory transactions to calculate the On-hand quantity in the way that you are doing (although I cannot be sure you are correctly excluding transactions which are not important for this purpose, such as Physical reserverd, Ordered or On order transactions).

It is perfectly normal for inventory transactions related to Work to have no Financial voucher, and this should not cause a problem for the Count journal line.

How does the On-hand inquiry look if you enable the right dimensions, and if you filter by that Item & Location?

The quantity on the Count Journal Line should agree with the On-hand inquiry. If you think the On-hand inquiry is wrong, you can rebuild on-hand from the inventory transactions using the Consistency checker.

actually I filtered inventory transaction for 200029851 Item and same inventDim with counting journal Line.

my filter include sold,purchased, received, deducted, registered and picked inventory status.

Before financial date 02.21.2019 my inventTransaction total is -2. there is no open transaction.

but ax calculating 22 because of 2 work transactions after 02.21.2019 date. this invent trans records has no voucher. so if I do not include this transaction I can calculate as 22. but work transactions should be included.
