Data Entity doesn't show up on TST environment

Hi everyone,

I've created a new data entity on my development environment and tested multiple exports jobs with it. No issues appeared as every field returned some record information. I then merged my project to a TST environment, in order to further test it before actually applying it to production / live environments.

My issue at the moment is the fact that the newly created data entity doesn't show up in my TST environment. I've already refreshed my entity list (as I do whenever I mess with entities, in general) and verified that the project was successfully uploaded to the TST environment. After browsing through some similar threads, I'm now wondering if there's anything left to configure in the data entity properties window, like the Configuration Key field or the Form Ref field (perhaps it has nothing to do with it, perhaps it does..).

Any suggestion? Did something similar ever happened to you?

    Hi,

You need to refresh entity list and wait some minutes that it get updated. Once it has updated, you can check the entities and find the the entity exist there.

You can also check the "Data entities" and click on "New" to check if you can find the staging table. If not, please check if the code package that you have installed in your TST env had this entity.

Please check the following post on Microsoft docs regarding building new data entities:

    Hi Alireza Eshaghzadeh,

After refreshing my entity list I always wait for the notification ("Entity List successfully refreshed") to pop. There were no errors on my DEV environment nor on TST environment regarding the refresh job.

As suggested, I tried to find my staging table but was unable to find it (neither did I find the said entity). I also verified that the package was correctly updated in the TST environment.

Could it have something to do with the properties I mentioned above or something regarding the entity label? As it was my first time creating a data entity, I didn't define any label as I thought it was something optional but, from what I can see from past company developments, there's always a label related to an entity.

    Hi joaoasilva11,

What exact steps did you do when you mentioned "then merged my project to a TST environment"? Did you use a deployable package or another option? If you e.g. imported a model or axpp file, then ensure the build is successful and the database is synced correctly. Then you can refresh the entity list.
