Hi,

Could someone please let me know, who we can group column in dynamic crm word template. I've designed a word template to print opportunity details. Under my opportunity products, products can have duplicate lines.

eg:

Item	qty	price
AAAAAA	1	100
BBBBBB	1	340
AAAAAA	1	100

So in my template, I want to group this as follows

Item	Qty	Price
AAAAAA	2	200
BBBBBB	1	340

Hello,

I think it is not feasible in word template.

What you can try is to do it with Excel Template and use different expressions, pivot table... that are more flexible to achieve your need.

Hi

As suggested above, i don't think you will be able to achieve this with CRM word template features. You might be able to look into word macro or VBA code to achieve this but then the script may not on all the user's machine due to trust issues.

If there are duplicate Opportunity Products, if I were you, i would consider writing a plugin to merge them as soon as they are created in CRM so that you have a clean data in CRM.

Unfortunately this is not achievable through Word, you can try this in Excel if that helps out.

Hi, just curious, why would you enter the same product more than once and not just edit the quantity?

Thank you so much for your post.

When consider on my client business process & the way the system has implemented, It's not possible to simply increase the qty. The product id will be always unique by a product property.
