Question for Dynamics Portal

Posted on by 460

Hi, I have question related with Dynamics Portal.

  1. In the login area, there is area called "Sign in for External user", and there is 3 button named "Facebook, Google and Azure AD". Can I change the button into image?
  2. as long as I know, after I login through this external user, it will login, even though the email address not available in Dynamics 365. Can I add login verification, for example, if I login using my facebook email, system will verified, does the email available or not. if not, then not able to login to menu

please share your expertise on this.

Hi Denis, please refer to myanswer community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-modified-sign-in-page---dynamics-portal

Basically, the link in that post refers you to how to add an image inside the button (as a background). You need to do this in a global js file that you host under web files.

    Hi Omar,

Can you give me some example to manipulate the DOM and add an image under JS? I dont have expert experience in JS.

for my second point, if we login using external account, it will automatically login into the portal, eventhough the username is not available in contact information.

Can I add some login verification, where if I login using external account, it will check into contact information. if the email is not available in contact, it will not able to login into the portal.

    Regards,

    RE: Question for Dynamics Portal

    Hi,

First sorry that by mistake, I clicked on "Report the post as abusive", I don't know how that happened, just some phantom click.

Second, for your first point, You can do that in JS where when the page loads, you can write some JS to manipulate the DOM and add an image inside those buttons.

For the second question, I don't understand exactly what you mean, can you please clarify it?
