Good morning everybody,
I use VisualStudio 2015 for working on SSRS reports. Sometimes, after the deployment of a report, the properties window of VisualStudio is empty:
This is only valid for when I click (on an element) in the report-design.
I know that restarting VisualStudio solves this problem. I asked my colleagues about this and the reply is "restart VisualStudio".
Does somebody know how to solve this without restarting VisualStudio? Is there a bugfix?
I'm slightly surprised as to why Microsoft did not fix this issue, because it hinders me in my work progress.
I have found this StackOverflow answer, but the answers did not really help me, and some are just too vague which is useless:

Thank you for your help in advance!
Best regards,
Jannik.

I have the same question (0)Hi Jannik! I've seen this problem for as long as I've been working with SSRS reports in Dynamics (Almost 6 years now) and I couldn't figure it out. I guess you will use more time trying to solve this than restarting Visual Studio. Just my thoughts... Good luck!
