SSRS Reporting with VisualStudio - After the deployment of a report, the "Properties" sometimes is blank

Good morning everybody,

I use VisualStudio 2015 for working on SSRS reports. Sometimes, after the deployment of a report, the properties window of VisualStudio is empty:
This is only valid for when I click (on an element) in the report-design.

I know that restarting VisualStudio solves this problem. I asked my colleagues about this and the reply is "restart VisualStudio".

Does somebody know how to solve this without restarting VisualStudio? Is there a bugfix?
I'm slightly surprised as to why Microsoft did not fix this issue, because it hinders me in my work progress.

Hi Jannik! I've seen this problem for as long as I've been working with SSRS reports in Dynamics (Almost 6 years now) and I couldn't figure it out. I guess you will use more time trying to solve this than restarting Visual Studio. Just my thoughts... Good luck!
