Hi

I have tried again and again to set up an SMTP e-mail account in our BC, but unfortunately without success.
I have followed the Wizard, and I have chosen to use the Office365 Server setting, but it's not working.
Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this problem(Another SMTP adress or....)
It have to be a SMTP solution, as our BC is hosted.

Thank you.

    What is the error?

The credentials on the smtp.office365.com server cannot be authenticated.

It should be mentioned that both the username (e-mail) and password are correct.
    It works perfectly everywhere else.

    Hi ,
You can reset your office 365 password & create a new password,& then you can try.

smtp set up in BC is hard to diagnosis but did you try to set up email with different options? you could try to set up as current user instead of using smtp.
if all failed, log a ticket to MS

I have tried to reset my office 365 password.
    Does not help.

I'm not using Gmail or Outlook mail.
Just want to use my Company e-mail.

Hi, if the email you use to log in to BC is the same, you can try the settings below.

If the same error occurs, I suspect it is a problem with Exchange settings. You can submit the problem to the person in charge of domain and mailbox settings in your company.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Have tried everything.
I have tried to change password, and even made a new e-mail account for BC.
I'm not able to use "Current user" in the setup, as the BC hosting company are responsibel for username and password for logging into BC - can't be changed, so it has to be a SMTP solution.

    Any suggestion would be appriciated.
It is a little tiring that everything to be sent is first saved as a file, and then attached in Outlook.
