AIF Processing not processing multiple documents

Hi There,

I am facing a problem with AIF processing. The problem is that the batch job AIF Processing is not processing multiple documents with status "Ready" from the AIf Queue , instead it is processing only one per execution.

This is very strange because we have 2 environments. DEV and TEST. At DEV env the batch job is processing multiple documents per execution but not in TEST. I was looking for any configuration which could switch this functionality but haven't found anything.

In my case the batch job should process multiple outbound messages.

    Does the batch end successfully? Isn't anything interesting the the infolog (saved by the batch)?

    Yes Martin,

    The batch job ends successfully and nothing is logged at infolog level.

    Thanks

    Is there any configuration that I am missing where you can specify the batch job to process one "Ready" msg per execution or multiple?

    I have created a new batch job just to process Outbound msg's but again it is processing only 1 messages per execution.

    You can configure such a limit, therefore check if it hasn't got intentionally set up.

    Open your outbound port, the go to Value mapping, Setup tab and review limits in the Outbound properties group.

    Thanks Martin,

    I checked this and its default value "Max number of documents" = 1000 on both env.

    Do you have file exchange? If so, check that your messages will create files with different file names

    Hi Mykhailo,

    Yes I have file exchange and the file name has %timestamp% to be unique. However I will check this functionality to confirm.

    Thanks.

    There is also a set of parameters defined in the AIF macro you might want to check (defaults shown below.)

    #define.MaximumInboundParallelMessages      (1000)

    #define.MaximumOutboundParallelMessages     (1000)

    #define.MaximumMessagesPerBatchTask         (100)

    #define.MaximumMessageSetsPerBatchTask      (10)

    Hi Chris,

    Yes everything its OK with the macro parameters. We have exhausted all the possibilities so we decided to close this issue for now and see what will happen when we move to another environment.

    You can always debug the process, if you want to understand what's going on.
