Hi Team,
I'm having an issue selecting existing records to use as Speakers for Events in Marketing.
The process is as follows:
1. Add Existing Speaker.
2. Select an existing record, e.g. John Smith.
3. Presented with following error message: 'This Record Cannot Be Added Because it Already Has A Parent Record.'
I don't know how to access or amend the parent record to allow us to add as a speaker. This means that each time we have an event we have to create a new record which is inconvenient and means we have (e.g.) 20 John Smith records within the system.
Please may you let me know how to fix the issue, or where to look in the system to amend Parent Records?

ASimmo123 have you applied any customization around this area? Have you added some other parent relationship or changed an existing one? If so, it might interfere with OOB one. Otherwise, I suggest opening an incident for this matter.
