Who do I contact at MS to turn Business Unit Scoping OFF for Real Time Journeys?

When Real-Time marketing became a thing, it automatically was turned on for our organization due to it being on for Outbound Marketing. The problem is that are Marketing and Sales departments are in different business units, so when Marketing goes to create a Segment, it never populates with anything. This makes it impossible to do much of anything in Real-Time, and Marketing wants to be able to market to Leads (Which can only be done in Real-Time). Who do I need to get in contact with in order to have that feature switched off?

Why can’t I turn this feature off after it's turned on?

After the business unit scoping feature is turned on for Customer Insights - Journeys, all processes start relying on business units for segregation of the captured/generated data. For example, consent data and journey analytics data are segregated by business units. Turning off the feature would result in unexpected behavior across the board but most importantly in journeys.

This is really vague and I would like to have a more concrete answer.

Regards,
Nathaniel

    Hi Nathaniel,

Sorry for not noticing this thread earlier!

Please message me directly and I can share the steps for turning Business Unit scoping off with you.

I do, however, want to understand this statement a bit better - "When Real-Time marketing became a thing, it automatically was turned on for our organization due to it being on for Outbound Marketing."

Did you mean that Business Unit scoping for Real-Time Marketing was automatically turned on for your organization without anyone taking an explicit action? Asking because that is completely unexpected behavior. The feature switch does require explicit user action to turn it on.

    Regards,
    Anubhav
