Can't get 10.0.47 update asset

Hello all,

I need to update my environments to 10.0.47 version.

As usual, I generate the 10.0.47 package asset from the links avaliable on my environment

After a few steps, I can launch my asset generation by clicking on "Save Package". Unfortunately, I get the following error message without details.

I don't know how to resolve this. Moreover, I don't know how to get the update in an other way...

Can anybody help me please ?

Hi

Can you please create a package again after sometime and you can deploy base version V47 from asset libary as well.

I have tried the same from LCS and able to create a package without any issues.

It's been 2 days that I try to save the package ... I tried at different times without success (I am in France).

Is there any other way to get this package ?

By the way, I tried to generate the 10.0.45 Quality Update with the same method. And getting this version works. Is it a specific problem for the 10.0.47 version ?

Could you please check whether you have V47 package is available in shared assest libary. if yes, please try to import the same into your project.

If you have additional users in your LCS project, please ask them try the same and check whether they have the same issue or not. if not please ask them to create a package and get it deployed to your environment.

Hi,

I don't have the Service Update 10.0.47 on my shared asset library. The latest I have is the 10.0.46.

We have also tried with different users and also an admin LCS user without success.

Isn't there any other way to get this update ?

I was able to replicate the same issue now with other projects and if you have already deployed V47 to any other envirinments we are able to create a package with quality update. if not we are facing issue and I hope MS stopped intentionally due to some issue with recent release.

Please raise a MS support ticket for additional information on this.

Hi,

Yes I have another environment where 10.0.47 was applied automatically. Here is it's change history (I focused on the automatic 10.0.47 update)

By the way, the package used by the automatic update is not in our asset library. Maybe MS has deleted it ?

Anyway, I understand that we can generate a package based on this updated environment. Am I right ?

There is a serious bug in 10.0.47 and therefore Microsoft removed 10.0.47 until they have a fix (in PQ3).

This is a statement from Microsoft with some details:

"Finance and Operations Apps – Service update 10.0.47 and PQUs 1 and 2 have been stopped

We have identified that release 10.0.47 contains a code regression that may cause gaps in continuous number sequences. This issue can occur when processing fails after a number has been reserved, as the reserved value is not returned for reuse.

Deployments of service update 10.0.47, PQU 1, and PQU 2 are no longer available in Power Platform admin center (PPAC) or Lifecycle Service (LCS).

Release 10.0.47 will remain serviceable and no service update pause exemption is required.

We have developed a hotfix that will restore the continuous number sequence code back to the last known working state.

How does this affect me?
If you are on service update 10.0.47 and use continuous number sequences, you can monitor Details for issue 1120115 for updates on the hotfix availability. In parallel, we are working on a remediation plan to address any gaps in the continuous number sequences.

If you are on service update 10.0.47 and do not use continuous number sequences, you are not impacted by this code regression. PQUs will resume with PQU 3, per the published schedule.

If you are on a version prior to service update 10.0.47, you will not receive an automatic update for 10.0.47. You can self update to 10.0.47 once PQU3 is available. If you do not self update, you will continue to receive PQUs on your current version per the published schedule. Additionally, you will receive an automatic update for version 10.0.48.

Yes, you can create a package from the updated environment.

As mentioned by Martin we have some issues with number sequnce as well please do multiple testing before deploying to Prod.
