Work item mapping

Hi,

I looked at the workitem type mapping on LCS Visual Studio Team Services setting. Do you use task Work Item for FDD, and TDD, and also for development tasks as well?

So when we check in our code, we check-in into development type tasks? Is this defined by LCS or we can have our own definition to use which WT for development.

You can attached everything FDD , TDD to your work item weather its a bug or PBI and also attached a changeset. While doing checking  just provide a work item id and CS will be automatically attached to that work item. Everything is defined in AZDO when you create work item. When you create work item , you can create it as PBI or bug . If your FDD belongs to new feature , you can classify it as PBI.

    Hi Yuji,

If i understood your question correctly, If your project use the agile methodology and your team have the project in azure dev-ops, each individual team member having the task in the respective sprint for the product back log item or Bugs. When check in your can mention the task id and reviewer. So once you did the check in your code change set will be attached to your task item. You can track history any time.
