Hi all,
Does anyone know if there's an ability to limit searches to a particular geographic source only - on the way in so results from Inner Mongolia don't get included in my searches related to my local market in (for example) Transylvania, using my quote unnecessarily?
I've seen you can filter posts by geography once they've come in...but that means they still use part of your quota.
Cheers,
Jonny
Thanks Alexis - yeah, I see now that most posts don't have any location data...so it's likely impossible to accurately limit on the way in, other than by search term construction.
Cheers.
Hi!
Better late than never:
The thing is that Social Listening takes the geographical information of the profile's account or the post's location (if it's ON) to give that data.
What I normally do is to use the exclusion words with the names of the places (i.e. Mongolia) in my queries to avoid wasting the solutions quota.
But I risk to lose those wierd cases where the client mentions my brand and he is from my city but he thought that it was really cool to say that he lives in Norway.
Hopes this helps!
Regards
